Sexual Violence Program
Sexual violence affects people of all genders and backgrounds—which is why our Sexual Violence Program is open to everyone, whether you’re staying in shelter or not. This program provides sexual violence advocacy, education, and support that’s confidential, inclusive, trauma informed, and free of judgment. You decide what to share and when. We’ll never pressure you to disclose more than you’re comfortable with, and we’ll never share your story without your permission.
Services are available at both our Appleton and Chilton offices, and through our 24-hour helpline at (920) 832-1666.

Your Life. Your Voice. Your Path Forward.
Each person’s experience with sexual violence is shaped by a variety of factors including culture, identity, history, values, and lived experience. Rather than rely on a one-size-fits-all model, we take the time to understand your unique situation and offer services that reflect who you are and what you need. Whether you’re looking for emotional support, safety planning, or help navigating complex systems, we’ll work with you to create a plan that feels right for you. Our role is to listen, adapt, and provide support that honors the choices you make at each step of your journey.
Advocacy & Support Services
No two people experience sexual violence in the same way, and we will never make assumptions about what you need or how you should move forward. When you reach out to us for help, we’ll take the time to learn about your needs, values, and goals for the future. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that reflects your circumstances and supports your decisions. You’re in control of your own journey. Our job is to walk alongside you, offering clear information, practical resources, and compassionate support at every step.
Safety Planning
Safety planning connects you with an advocate who will work with you to develop a practical plan that addresses your unique needs and keeps you safe before, during, and after leaving an abusive situation.
One-on-One Advocacy
One-on-one advocacy offers personalized support in a judgment-free setting. You'll receive education on sexual violence and trauma, as well as referrals to counseling, legal advocacy, and other resources.
SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examination) Accompaniment
If you’re going to the hospital for emergency care or a forensic exam, we can send an advocate to be with you—offering emotional support during your visit and helping you connect with services afterward.
Legal Advocacy
Our legal advocacy service provides personalized assistance from an advocate who can help you navigate restraining orders, criminal and civil court cases, immigration processes, and other legal issues.
Interpreter Service
Language barriers should never stand in the way of your safety. We offer interpreter support in Spanish, Hmong, and other languages so you can express your needs and feel heard, understood, and supported.
