Domestic Violence Program

Our Domestic Violence Program offers advocacy, education, and support that’s confidential, inclusive, and free of judgment. Programming is available to all genders, as well as shelter residents and non-residents, and is tailored to your needs and comfort level. You decide what to share, what kind of support you want, and how you want to move forward—we’ll never pressure you to share more than you want to, and we’ll never share what you tell us without your permission.

Services are available at our Appleton and Chilton offices, as well as through our 24-hour helpline at (920) 832-1666.

Personalized Support for Every Journey

No one experiences abuse in exactly the same way. Culture, identity, history, and personal circumstances all play a role in shaping how abuse is felt and how healing begins. That’s why we take the time to understand your situation—not just the facts, but the context and the impact. Rather than take a standardized approach, we offer advocacy and support services that are flexible and responsive, working with you to create a personalized safety plan and connect you with resources that truly reflect your needs.

Advocacy & Support Services

Your situation is uniquely your own, and you deserve support that’s sensitive to your specific needs and experiences. When you reach out to us for support, our advocates will listen carefully to your story, identify any concerns you may have, and work with you to craft a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs. You decide what direction to take; our role is to support you by providing clear information, practical resources, and ongoing support, empowering you to move forward on your own terms.

Safety Planning

Safety planning is a collaborative process in which you and an advocate assess potential risks in your daily routine and develop practical strategies to keep you safe before, during, and after leaving abuse.
