Harbor House’s Illuminate: When Survivors Need Us Most event is shining a light on the critical services that support survivors of sexual violence in our community. Through partnerships with specially trained Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) and Harbor House advocates and volunteers, survivors receive compassionate medical care, emotional support, and guidance during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. No survivor should have to face that experience alone.
Throughout this week, you’ll hear from advocates, nurses, volunteers, and community leaders who help make this care possible. Their stories show how Harbor House works every day to ensure survivors are believed, supported, and empowered as they begin their path toward healing.
